All Lähe greenhouses are made of high quality thermo treated wood (thermowood). Thermowood is a wood material produced by using natural methods, heat and steam. Thermal modification improves the wood’s technical properties and Thermowood is non-toxic, dimensionally stable, resistant to decay and resin free. It can be used in any climate. Thermowood is classified as durable according to the EN 113 standard; i.e., its natural resistance to decay meets class 2 requirements.

Thermowood of our choice is thermo treated Scandinavian pine. Thermowood has a warm, natural beauty. All constructions are made of very durable and robust 92 x 42 mm material.

All elements are glazed in 4 mm Tempered Safety Glass to European Standard EN 12150.

Tempered Glass has a number of advantages. For visual purposes, tempered glass is far superior in clarity. Winds, storms, blizzards and other weather elements can`t damage glass greenhouses so easily. Also, tempered glass is safer because when broken, it crumbles into tiny pieces that are not sharp.

Tempered Glass offers a far longer service life than any other type of greenhouse material.

All our greenhouses can be ordered with an oiled or painted finish with different colors.

For all Lähe greenhouses, the wooden frame is guaranteed for 15 – 20 years and the accessories (door lock, window openers, etc.) are guaranteed for 2 years. Glass is subject to a limited warranty.

All Lähe greenhouses are engineered for long-term durability. With proper care, the frame and structure have a life expectancy of 40 – 50 years.

We strive to deliver your greenhouse as quickly as possible. The standard production time is approximately 4 weeks, and with transport included, delivery may take up to 6 weeks.

For accurate lead times in your area, please contact your local retailer.

Our products are delivered as installation kit and details are packed to very strong wooden crate for safe delivery. Due transportation crate size and weight it may require delivery with HIAB truck or lifting equipment on site.

We advise consulting your City Council as requirements may differ depending on the country or various regions.

We offer neccessary documentation which will make the process simple.

Greenhouses can be installed on various types of foundations, depending on your needs and the surrounding environment. However, for the longest possible service life, we recommend using a reinforced concrete slab or strip foundation. Foundation drawings are available for download on the selected product page under the Technical Information section.

All Lähe greenhouses can also be installed independently. For this, we provide comprehensive installation instructions, which can be downloaded from the Technical Information section on the selected product page.

Please note that installing a greenhouse requires at least two people. Never attempt to install it alone.

It may be possible to order your greenhouse with an installation service, depending on your country and the selected retailer.
